The sports building at Croydon High School was a huge success along with the nursery toilet cubicles
The school was founded in 1872 by four pioneering women, Mrs Maria Grey, her sister Miss Emily Shirreff, Lady Stanley of Alderley and Miss Mary Gurney. They believed that girls should be entitled to the same academic education as their brothers. This was a revolution for the time and inspired girls near and far.
One of the founders, Maria Grey, went on to be a campaigner for votes for women. And several GDST girls grew up to be active in the Suffragist and Suffragette movements.
Now the schools and nursery focus on character building and embracing every role with the girls, so providing excellent facilities for the children is a must. In the nursery toilet cubicles, Bushboard’s Tiny Stuff range was chosen with colours including Buttermilk, Winter and Bayleaf. The staff chose Solid Surface wash troughs in Celestial to compliment the soft colour palette.
Tiny Stuff was designed specifically for nursery toilet cubicles and features shaped doors, sturdy floor-mounted pilasters, strong wall fixings and come with anti-finger trap hinges as standard.
The sports building at Croydon High School was also fitted with new toilet cubicles and benching. Staff and visitors are thrilled with Bushboard’s vibrant Zest colour. The toilet cubicles were supplied complete with SGL Ezeeduct panels and flash gaps in Welsh Slate to complement Bushboard’s Zest colour. The project was completed with perimeter benching in SGL and wall mounted coat hooks.
