Enhancing the Guest Experience with a New Campsite Shower Block
As part of a long-term improvement plan, the Park invested in upgrading its campsite washroom facilities near the reception and restaurant area. The family-run team at Park Foot Holiday Park recognised the need for a modern campsite shower block to better serve guests in this central location. Looking for an ultra-modern finish, the team turned to Bushboard Washrooms, which he described as offering the “best-looking systems for the project.”
Durable Shower Cubicles, Toilet Cubicles and Changing Cubicles in One Seamless Design
The shower block was fitted with a combination of shower cubicles, toilet cubicles and changing cubicles, using Bushboard’s flush-fronted Definition range. Manufactured in robust Solid Grade Laminate with stainless steel fittings, the cubicles offer long-term performance ideal for the busy campsite environment. The materials provide critical benefits for campsite changing rooms: waterproof, hard-wearing, and easy to clean, enabling the Park Foot team to maintain a high standard of hygiene.
The chosen colour palette of Wenge doors and pilasters paired with Metallic Silver partitions were selected to complement the architectural style of that area of the park.
Family-Friendly Changing Cubicles for Campsite Guests
Creating a family-friendly experience was a key design focus. Oversized changing cubicles were included, large enough for parents and children to use together. Each cubicle is equipped with a WC, basin, shower and changing bench, offering self-contained changing room ideal for families. Mixer taps ensure a safe and comfortable handwashing temperature for users of all age.
Hygienic and Stylish Washroom Vanity Units
The washroom also features countertop vanity units in Solid Grade Laminate, spanning the length of the communal handwashing area. The cantilevered vanity design leaves the floor space clear for easier cleaning and contributes to a more open, spacious feel. The press action taps reduce water wastage and prevent flooding by automatically shutting off after use. The vanities were supplied as Ready Plumbed Modules (RPM), allowing for faster installation as basins and taps arrived pre-fitted, with only final connections required on site.
