Non Clinical Hand Rinse Basin
The wall hung wash hand basin features a single tap hole (right and left options) with a bottom outlet for ease of maintenance. HBN, HTM and DOC M compliant, suitable for ambulant users, most commonly specified in a healthcare environment as a sanitary assembly, in patient and staff WCs.
HBN recommends
Hand rinse basins are approximately 300-350mm deep and 400mm wide and are generally only suitable for rinsing hands. Hand washing takes place under running water; therefore the basin should not take a plug. Taps should have a lever, press or sensor for ease of use with combined manual control of flow and temperature of water or automatic control of thermostatically mixed water. A TMV3-approved thermostatic mixer must be used on hot supply to ensure patient safety and infection control.
